Replacing the home button is a very easy and inexpensive task. However, on IPhones that have the fingerprint function, replacing the Home Button will render this function useless. Apple made it so that the Home Button is unique to each phone. Before the 9.2 update, replacing the Home Button and resetting your phone would have resulted in making your entire phone useless. This has since been fixed and now it only disables the functionality of the fingerprint function.
